LE CJL

The Justice & Liberties For All Committee is a French organisation for the defense of human rights and civil liberties.

The CJL specializes in the fight against racism in all its forms and repression (deprivation of freedoms, mass surveillance, private life, police brutality …).

Aiming at empowering individuals and communities, the CJL’s action is based on the production of knowledge (research, analysis, investigation), which is disseminated through popular education and is translated into reality through strategic litigation and citizen lobbying.

“THERE IS NOTHING MORE PERMANENT THAN A TEMPORARY LOSS OF FREEDOMS”

Through its commitment, know-how and solidarity with other organizations fighting for social progress, the CJL’s mission is to bring a systemic approach to the fight against racism and the reconquest of freedoms in order to bring about a new social contract that grants equity for all.

VISION

The CJL aims to become the organization that, through educational, political, legal and intellectual action, based on the principles of continuous commitment, excellence and solidarity, makes civil society a counter power capable of protecting human rights, reconquering civil liberties and making struggles for social equity converge.

MISSION

To create the necessary conditions for solidarity actions leading to a new and fair social contract for all, by all available means.
